In 19 days it will be fours years exactly since I started writing Ripples of Stillness. It’s not a four-year story; it just took that long because the first few drafts were crap. I rewrote the thing three times before settling on the finished product. And now it’s done.
Astrid and I got the first shipment of books yesterday. It was a big day for us. We decided to go all-out, and celebrate in style. We went to Han's Restaurant for dinner, got home before eight o’clock and watched 'Modern Family'. Classy right…
Astrid’s the ‘brains of this outfit.’ That’s certainly true when it comes to social media stuff. She told me this is where we will talk to people. Here on this blog. Apparently she will take care of the Bowen stuff, and I’m here for all things to do with Ripples of Stillness.
The development stage of the book is complete, and I feel a little weird…
I’m looking forward to the next stage of the journey. I’m excited about the unknown. But mostly I just feel really grateful for all of the amazing people in my life. So many people helped over the past four years. And I guess I’m here today to say thanks.
I didn’t write Ripples of Stillness because I wanted to. I wrote it because I had to. Instinct drove me there. I finished the final draft six months ago. And instinctively, I knew we needed to build a platform to get it out there. That’s what this is: www.etherealtouch.com.au
It’s clear to me what the next thing is. It’s word-of-mouth. I wrote my story for a very simple reason. I wanted to share. And I can’t do it without you. The next phase in the amazing journey is you. My instincts have brought me to this point.
What are yours telling you right now?
